About this role
Role Overview
Drive and deliver corporate revenue targets within timelines and budget
Ensure sales fundamentals are met for assigned customers
Minimize selling costs and maximize revenue through various avenues
Manage manufacturers' expenditures efficiently
Create and sell comprehensive business plans to achieve objectives
Establish and maintain superior business relationships with customers
Serve as the main contact for customer-specific issues
Develop systems to manage trade-marketing funds
Guide Business Managers in managing accounts
Maintain relationships with principals and leverage resources
Identify new business opportunities with manufacturers
Apply analytical skills for improved results and industry trend updates
Demonstrate leadership qualities consistent with company culture
Take on special projects as requested
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor’s Degree
Proven track record in a sales capacity with a food broker or major national company
Sales skills with the ability to successfully manage and direct others
Experience working with CVS or in the drug channel preferred
Proficient in software packages that support the sales function
Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills
Ability to analyze sales and marketing information for effective presentations
Valid driver’s license
No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 36 months
