Design, implement, and optimize microcode features for Intel’s next-generation CPU microprocessors
Define and develop innovative Architecture and Microarchitecture for Intel's next generation CPU Microprocessor
Analyze existing developed code, understand and gather new requirements, develop new algorithms or changes required, document for review and communication
Create and negotiate a development plan, write the code, and debug that code for functionality and performance requirements
Interact and communicate with Architecture, Logic design, and Validation teams to achieve coding goals
Support this code through tape-in and future steppings, either through patching or code rewrites
Review others' code and help to improve group productivity and accuracy
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of experience
Or a Master's degree in the same field with 4+ years of experience or PhD in the same field with 2+ years of experience
