Role Overview
- Manage a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated abuse claims(Defender)
- Forensic review and analysis of documents,liability, quantum,and causation
- Drafting advice,court documents,and correspondence
- Preparing witness statements and instructions to experts and counsel
- Liaising with clients and conducting site visits
- Supporting Partners and contributing to team initiatives
- Engaging in business development through articles,blogs, presentations,and events
Working Hours **35 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is the Glasgow Office although we operate flexible working. **
Requirements
- Experience in sensitive and complex claims
- Sheriff Court appearances and instructing in the Court of Session
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
