Tax Specialist (Steuerfachwirt) – High-Performance Tax Operations

Role Overview

• Tax responsibility for client engagements: independent handling of demanding mandates
• Preparation and review of annual financial statements, tax returns, and ongoing financial accounting
• Technical preparation of complex issues for decision-making by tax advisors
• Management of digital client processes (DATEV Unternehmen online, automation services)
• Optimization of processes and posting logic
• Quality assurance of automated posting systems
• Primary point of contact for assigned mandates
• Direct communication with clients and tax authorities

Requirements

• Professional qualification as Steuerfachwirt or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the tax field
• Very good knowledge of German tax law and accounting
• Confident use of DATEV and digital processes
• Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
• High quality standards and sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills and client orientation
