About this role
Role Overview
Monitor the queue of tickets and alerts via ServiceNow;
Perform analysis and handling of Level 1 incidents related to SRE requests;
Execute restart and recovery activities for environments and services;
Monitor systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure service stability;
Analyze logs from tools and applications (e.g., Dynatrace) to identify faults and root causes;
Set up and lead war rooms during critical incident scenarios;
Escalate incidents to internal teams and vendors when necessary;
Open tickets with vendors and follow up on resolutions;
Conduct follow-up with stakeholders and executives regarding incident status;
Support clear and concise communication during critical situations;
Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring and incident response processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field;
Previous experience monitoring environments, systems, and applications;
Knowledge of SRE practices (microservices, pipelines, and Kubernetes);
Experience with DevOps and SRE culture/practices;
Knowledge of AWS Cloud;
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Dynatrace);
Proficiency with Linux;
Experience analyzing and interpreting logs and alerts;
Experience handling incidents and working in critical environments;
Availability to work on a 24x7 schedule (night shift — 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM);
Preferred: Previous experience in a Command Center or NOC; familiarity with additional monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Datadog).
