Deploys automated solutions such as LORA, (LORAWAN) to improve data integrity and accuracy, and process efficiency.
Assists with dialing in automated equipment such as production robots and equipment with Programmable Logic Controllers, PLCs.
Converts blueprint lay out concept drawings into detail drawings.
Uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to translate conceptual designs into detailed plans for manufacturing while ensuring accuracy and adherence to project/product standards.
Produces layouts, detailed drawings, and assembly diagrams.
Works closely with Engineering and project teams to discuss design concepts, material optimization, and incorporate feedback to ensure design integrity.
Creates new and updates existing drawings of equipment, machine tooling, and facilities. Works with Maintenance, Engineering and Production to improve and design new and replacement tooling and equipment.
Requirements
Associate’s degree or equivalent classwork in industrial drafting, an engineering discipline or a related field.
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel.
Proficiency with most current version of AutoCAD or concurrent enrollment in a four-year drafting program with at least a Junior standing.
Bachelor’s degree in industrial drafting, an engineering discipline or the equivalent, plus one year of on-the-job experience.
PLC experience a plus.
Basic knowledge of electronic troubleshooting and wiring helpful.
Knowledge of SharePoint and Power BI.
