Develop and iterate on subject lines, preview text, CTAs, and body copy with clear rationale tied to performance principles and conversion frameworks
Seamlessly switch between multiple client brand voices, ensuring each retains a distinct tone, style, and messaging consistency without overlap
Leverage AI tools to generate, refine, and elevate drafts, ensuring all outputs are original, on-brand, and conversion-driven rather than generic or unedited
Conduct ongoing research into DTC trends, competitor campaigns, and audience behavior to inform copy direction and improve campaign performance
Maintain organized copy banks, proofread all deliverables, catch errors independently, and deliver clean, client-ready work aligned with briefs and timelines.
Requirements
DTC/eCommerce Email Expertise: 5 years of experience writing conversion copy specifically for DTC/eCommerce brands, with strong understanding of flows vs campaigns and lifecycle marketing
Email-First Copywriting Skillset: Deep knowledge of email structure, pacing, CTA placement, and formatting optimized for skimmability and conversions
AI Tool Proficiency: Advanced ability to use AI tools strategically to enhance output, including prompt creation, editing, and identifying weak or off-brand content
Brand Voice Mastery: Proven ability to quickly learn, replicate, and maintain multiple brand voices with precision and consistency across campaigns
Analytical & Iterative Thinking: Experience reviewing past performance and applying insights to improve future copy, including suggesting and executing A/B testing strategies
Attention to Detail & Reliability: Strong proofreading skills, high level of accuracy, consistent turnaround times, and clear communication with openness to feedback.
