About this role
Role Overview
Perform normal office functions such as: Set up and maintenance of files.
Screening phone calls and making proper referrals.
Arranging meetings and conferences.
Receiving, referring, or answering mail.
Review draft and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage.
Answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
Gather, compile, and report on information relevant to supervisors assignment.
Document key points, decisions, & lessons learned from all meetings.
Manage contractor access program.
Build wing bed-down calendar.
Manage temporary duties (TDYs), schedules, conferences, and telecoms.
Requires access to "my suite of applications". Examples include but are not limited to: My eval, My decs, My report, My fitness, My biz, AMS, MilPDS, BLSDM, DTS, and Leave Web.
Coordinates with installation protocol office on any visit requests coming to the PIO.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
Minimum of four (4) years of U.S. Air Force administrative support experience.
Proficiency with Defense Travel System and Joint Travel Regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom in a Windows environment.
Flexibility to track, prioritize, and execute multiple simultaneous responsibilities in various parts of the organization.
Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and superb interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
