Facilities Maintenance Manager – Night Shift Operations

Role Overview

• Directs routine night shift operations for facilities support
• Supports ship construction, repair, refueling and overhaul, manufacturing shops, and waterfront support
• Directs immediate actions to be taken in emergencies and maintains necessary direct contact with pertinent parties
• Ensures a safe and healthful environment by auditing the workplace and reinforcing safety commitments
• Supervise employees or outside contractors performing maintenance and repair tasks
• Organizes night shift management and conducts self-assessments of functions

Requirements

• Apprentice Certification
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 8 years of applicable, progressive technical, professional and/or supervisory work experience
• Thorough understanding of construction, manufacturing processes, and operations
