The employee in this position reports to and assists the Regulatory Supervisor.
This position is a professional position in which the employee functions independently, and as a team member, to process, evaluate and determine eligibility for licensure applications.
Evaluates all documents uploaded to Axiom Pro using the online application system.
Serves as the main processor for military veteran applications.
Evaluates applications for nursing licensure by endorsement, examination or re-examination to determine eligibility.
Approves requests for licensure or examination and notifies applicants.
Serves as the primary processor for the Livescan reports received daily; requires posting of reports and ensuring that established timeframes for review are met.
Serves as assistant trainer for all Regulatory Specialist II processors.
Performs other duties as assigned by managerial staff.
Requirements

Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve complaints.
Ability to understand and apply Florida Statutes, rules, policies and procedures for licensing and regulation of professionals and consumer protection.
Ability to provide consultative assistance to others.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
