About this role
Role Overview
Provide informatics and systems support for pharmacy operations
Partner closely with pharmacy operations teams, providers, nurses, IT/Epic support, and analytics partners
Optimize workflows and enhance patient care through technology
Build, maintain, and improve Epic functionality, supporting medication dispensing processes
Troubleshoot system issues, and lead upgrades, testing, and implementations
Deliver end-user support and training while driving continuous system improvements
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Admin or related field
6 years of system implementation experience, including directing, planning and scheduling a major information system project OR High School Diploma / GED or equivalent and 9 years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and 7 years of experience
For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
Understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts
Understands principles of client/server configuration
Excellent knowledge of messaging technology and project management skills
Must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work independently.
