Provides analyses and explanation of report outputs to contribute to the financial understanding of RCM functions
Participates in the strategy and vision for business intelligence and analytics, spanning thought the RCM organization, adhoc query and analysis and other BI solutions
Create and maintain revenue cycle management reports and dashboards for various business units
Develop metrics, KPIs, analytics and dashboards to provide performance measurement and drive business performance
Perform revenue related data inspection, cleanup and governance to ensure data integrity
Proactively identify automation opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance system efficiencies
Support day-to-day operational needs/requests of the revenue cycle teams
Analyzes reimbursement from all sources, including carrier reimbursement exception reporting and follow up pending claims analysis and denials management
Contribute to the department goals of meeting key productivity metrics
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or MBA is preferred
5 + years revenue cycle management experience preferably in GI, Pathology, Anesthesia, Imaging and Infusion
Experience with Practice Management Systems
