Receive and place telephone calls for commercial insurance quotes, policy issuances, service, endorsements (policy changes), cancellations, and renewals.
Make solicitation calls to prospective clients.
Update and review certain renewal files.
Analyze submissions, request external information, and enter insurance transactions into the computer system.
Advise clients on the selection of required coverages and limits.
Coordinate appropriate inspections.
Analyze inspection reports and complete underwriting files.
Draft personalized letters for situations requiring special handling.
Make independent decisions within assigned authority limits.
Requirements
College diploma in Insurance and Financial Services
Valid commercial insurance agent license from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
