Actively partner with Instructional Designers during the initial drafting phase to suggest visual metaphors and layouts that improve cognitive load and learner retention.
Conduct final visual "polishing" and QA checks on completed modules to identify graphical inconsistencies, alignment issues, or 508 compliance gaps before delivery.
Ensure all training assets strictly adhere to corporate or agency-specific brand guidelines, including consistent use of typography, color palettes, and iconography across multiple simultaneous projects.
Maintain and organize a centralized library of source files (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and stock media to ensure version control and ease of access for the wider team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
At least 5 years of experience working as a Graphics and Multimedia Designer on courseware development projects
Expert proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite a must—specifically: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
Generative AI for Imagery: Experience with tools such as Midjourney, DALL-E 3, or Stable Diffusion for creating custom assets, and Copilot
Strong understanding of 508 compliance
Extensive background in UX/UI design, graphic design, illustration, and animation
Experience creating infographics from descriptive text documents
Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrate strong information technology skills specifically working in the Microsoft Teams and SharePoint environments
