Develops strategic data-driven growth and marketing plans that align with overall ChristianaCare’s goals.
Advises clinical and operational leaders on marketing strategy and opportunities for external awareness and patient growth.
Collaborates with colleagues within the department and throughout ChristianaCare, securing appropriate input, reviews, and approvals to ensure that the plan is executed to meet marketing needs, overall system goals and corporate brand.
Oversees external advertising campaigns and coordinates efforts with relevant partners to establish and maintain consistency between media or delegates appropriate projects to Marketing Coordinators.
Develops strategy to engage with referring providers and other external stakeholders to grow business.
Identifies needs within the network of employed, affiliated, and unaffiliated providers that can be addressed through marketing efforts.
Develops and maintains a detailed assessment of the competitive landscape for ChristianaCare’s primary and secondary service areas.
Creates a strategic plan for periodic market research assessments to fully understand patient demographics and provider/referral pipeline.
Initiates, plans, organizes, and manages a variety of projects within the scope of responsibility to meet the needs of internal clients and to coordinate with ChristianaCare’s overall marketing strategy.
Manages marketing meetings with appropriate leaders and provides regular progress reports.
Develops comprehensive annual budget for clients by partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
Follows procedures regarding saving and archiving work to create accurate, useful records for entire department.
Provides superior client support for internal stakeholders.
Oversees development of advertising creative and campaign strategy with internal and external partners.
Makes recommendations on ways to improve patient acquisition, brand identity and messaging.
Develops process of creating and delivering KPI reports on all campaigns and marketing efforts, in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Marketing preferred.
Ten years or more of marketing experience, with a demonstrated ability to think critically and successfully develop multi-faceted marketing plans using internal and external resources such as advertising agencies, writers and designers, printers, photographers.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Understanding of digital marketing is preferred.
Experience in sales pipeline management and/or business development preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
