About this role
Role Overview
Lead a team of product managers responsible for defining and implementing the chemical strategy
Provide pricing leadership and facilitate commercial operations accountability
Develop and maintain an effective go to market strategy
Work cross functionally with various departments in support of lifecycle management and new product introduction
Develop and own the product roadmap for the chemical portfolio
Drive innovation by identifying new product opportunities
Develop pricing and packaging strategies that optimize product adoption
Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
Define and track key performance metrics for products
Partner with the operations and supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related scientific field preferred
Advanced Degree preferred
10 years of experience in progressive product management in chemicals, life sciences, scientific instruments, or related industry
Successful track record in product management and/or strategic marketing
Proven ability to manage cost and drive organic growth through innovation and profit
Ability to build, lead, and influence teams across a matrixed environment
5+ years of people leadership experience managing global teams
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed global organization
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive data-based decisions
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Demonstrated success in developing teams
Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements (ISO, CE, FDA, etc.)
Willingness to travel up to 25% nationally & internationally
Strong project management capabilities and attention to detail
Proficiency with financial modeling and business case development
