Back up the Team Lead to ensure continuity of operations.
Primary point of contact for all IT Projects and will organize all tasks and work in order of priority with the government product owner.
Responsible for managing, tracking, and reporting on all tasks and is expected to utilize their required experience and skills to ensure compliance with HSI standards.
Work with Team Lead, Government PMs and OCIO ITPMs to complete tasks.
Take ownership of all IT related security and privacy documentation.
Primary POC for all IT related projects with government PMs.
Become knowledgeable of all Title-III systems to be able to better direct and coordinate all security and privacy issues that may arise.
Document and maintain records for new initiatives to include Artificial Intelligence working groups and new technology demonstrations.
Assigned workload on an ad hoc basis.
Requirements
3-5 Years of experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager
Knowledge of various agile business analysis techniques including interviewing, brainstorming, problem discovery, and MVP identification.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders at varied levels.
Experience in supporting business and project teams in translating complex business needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to ask probing questions to business team members.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to manage and lead meetings.
Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
Experience working in an environment leveraging IT frameworks.
Active or recent previous DHS experience HIGHLY desired.
At least 1 year of experience in Product or Project Management.
Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in business or an IT related field, which can be substituted for technical certifications or relevant experience.
