Deputy CFO – Accounting

Role Overview

• Directing and overseeing accounting operations including payroll, cash receipts, accounts receivable, and collections
• Managing the accounting office staff and interacting with auditors
• Overseeing financial reporting and tax processes
• Ensuring integrity of general ledgers and disbursement functions
• Leading annual audit and tax preparation processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance/Business with accounting concentration
• 10+ years of accounting at a mid to senior level: preferred in a non-profit financial environment
• Knowledge of cash management, A/P, A/R, payroll, and other accounting operations processes
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong management, interpersonal, and listening skills
• Experience in dealing with external auditors
