Role Overview
- Providing leadership, direction, and training to members of the Food Label group
- Reviewing and validating work of label review staff to ensure accuracy/compliance
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring and managing label review staff
- Communicating with clients to answer their technical questions regarding Label Review and regulations
- Conducting employee performance reviews and providing ongoing guidance and feedback for development
Requirements
- B.S. degree with a concentration in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or other relevant science area
- 5-7 years relevant experience
- Highly knowledgeable in data reporting, technical requirements and food regulations
- Knowledge of LIMS systems (Preferred)
