Provide hands-on supervision of pulp & paper equipment maintenance, repair, rebuild, troubleshooting and installation at customer sites.
In collaboration with engineering and sales personnel you will work on diagnosing and providing technical solutions to our customers during scheduled and emergency service shutdowns.
You'll work independently, therefore, you must demonstrate strong facilitation and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology; minimum of five years of related hands-on mechanical experience in roles like maintenance mechanic, mechanical construction foreman or technician.
Working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, rigging, pipefitting, millwrighting and machining preferred.
Requires the ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
Must be able to oversee projects and manage all aspects of leading a sub-contractor crew.
Ability to travel by air or automobile up to 200 days a year. Mostly domestically, sometimes internationally.
