Ensure technical content drives developer efficiency and lower cognitive load, while maintaining clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Report into the Lead Product Manager of Platform Experience.
Work with engineering and product teams to create documentation for new product features, API updates, and integrations.
Develop long-term content strategies to organize and make documentation easily discoverable for developers.
Conduct regular content reviews and maintain high documentation standards.
Collaborate with engineering, product, customer support, and other partners to ensure technical content meets the needs of users and developers.
Establish writing best practices for internal and external documentation.
Identify areas for improvement in existing content and processes and implement enhancements to improve documentation workflows.

5+ years of experience in Technical Writing, especially within B2B SaaS environments.
Experience translating complex concepts into concise documentation.
Expertise in API documentation and an understanding of software development processes.
Proficiency with tools such as Markdown, Git, and JIRA.
Experience with modern development workflows and an ability to work within a "docs-as-code" environment.
Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Comfortable collaborating with technical teams, including developers, engineers, and product managers.
Experience writing about one or more backend languages like Ruby, Go, Python, PHP, Node, or Java is valuable.
The ability to read front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, are a plus.
Experience with documentation generation tools and automation, and experience using AI tools to help identify changes, drift, and errors in documentation
An understanding of user experience principles, content design, and accessibility in technical writing.
Experience with large-scale information architecture projects.
Experience learning new technologies and documenting the latest software products.
