Preplanning a daily schedule of sales calls for each day on campus.
Conducting interviews following all sales training parameters established by the immediate supervisor.
Delivering appropriate sales materials on a timely basis.
Accomplishing required/requested servicing activities for each of assigned accounts promptly.
Actively and accurately manage company CRM tool and customer information.
Responding promptly to requests made by customers and/or by Macmillan Learning personnel.
Travel to assigned accounts for personal sales interviews.
Develop and execute selling techniques that effectively promote products.
Service customers within the assigned territories.
Maintain communication with assigned sales manager.
Submission of required sales tracking, sampling, etc.
Provide feedback on market trends and competitor analysis.
Attend and actively participate in professional conferences and sales meetings.

Bachelor’s Degree
A minimum of 2 years direct sales experience
Ability to work independently as well as part of a sales team
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a self-starting environment
A knowledge of and/or an interest in working in an academic environment
Proficiency with computers and basic applications software
Valid driver’s license
Ability to travel
Reliable transportation
A record of tangible success in a sales role
Publishing experience preferred (preferred)
Willingness to take calculated risks in territory planning
Strong interest in and familiarity with digital learning platforms, LMS integrations, and courseware tools
Comfort using AI tools for efficiency and personalization in sales communication
Experience leveraging CRM analytics and reporting dashboards to identify accounts and refine strategy
