The candidate will work collaboratively within Ford and multiple mod center and supplier partners to launch specialty vehicle programs and accessories for body exterior, body Interior and electrical for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles for Ford Blue and Model-e programs.
The candidate will be responsible for industrializing and managing Quality, Mod Center Capacity analysis and resolving production delivery issues for new model program launches and current production programs.
Flexibility to travel within US/Canada and Mexico is required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field
4+ years of experience in manufacturing quality
4+ years of experience in problem solving tools (Six Sigma, DOE, 8D, 5 Why, etc.)
4+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Experience in developing and monitoring quality systems
Technical aptitude with the desire to learn
Enjoys being hands on with projects
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and commodities (multitask)
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Self-starter, with the ability to be self-directed in a fast-paced environment
Effective oral and written communication skills.
