Scope of Work:
ServicePoint is seeking a Technical Engineer for a 3 6 month, 100% onsite engagement located in Lenexa, KS. This position operates on a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead on infrastructure projects, developing specifications and providing expert technical guidance.
- Establish and enforce technical standards for infrastructure implementation across the organization.
- Administer and maintain infrastructure systems, including Windows Active Directory environments.
- Oversee regional server operations, including performance monitoring, security patching, and system upgrades to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to support existing systems and applications.
- Manage system operations, including Veeam backups, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide desktop support for both Windows and macOS environments.
- Coordinate change management processes and ensure adherence to service desk SLAs for end-user support.
- Support and manage IT systems within a hybrid Linux/Windows environment, including network devices, while coordinating changes with global network teams.
- Assist with regional and local IT projects, providing documentation, SOPs, and guidance to internal support teams.
- Deliver specialized IT support to departments such as Executive Leadership, Board members, and HR.
- Implement and uphold global security policies across North American sites.
- Partner with regional colleagues to drive process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and standardize IT services.
- Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, including senior engineering roles.
- Proven experience in the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise systems across North America, including servers (IT/OT), network infrastructure, telephony, and virtualization platforms (VMware).
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
