Independently post accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger transactions using DATEV, including fixed-asset accounting
Code and verify incoming and outgoing invoices for accuracy and completeness
Handle payment transactions, reconcile and post cash entries to ensure smooth financial flow
Properly document and archive all relevant financial records and supporting documents in accordance with legal requirements
Reconcile and maintain accounts to ensure high data integrity and error-free bookkeeping
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and produce monthly reports on the company’s financial position

You have a degree in accounting/taxation or a commercial apprenticeship with advanced training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant)
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, ideally focused on general ledger accounting or as a Bilanzbuchhalter
You are proficient and confident with ERP and IT systems, particularly DATEV and MS Excel
You have solid knowledge of German VAT law; experience in payroll accounting is a plus
You demonstrate an independent, structured and very precise working style
You speak very good German and good English (company language)
