About this role
Role Overview
Customer support (1st and 2nd level) via email, telephone and ticketing system
Order processing
Installation, configuration and maintenance of server systems (Linux, Windows)
Planning and configuration of information and telecommunications systems
Testing of equipment and systematic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting during incidents
Administration and monitoring of server and network infrastructures
Product consultation for new and existing customers
Support and assistance with projects (internal/external)
Requirements
Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable IT qualification
Good knowledge of common Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, SUSE)
Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems desirable
Knowledge of PHP and HTML
Business-fluent German (C1 GER) required for daily communication
Good command of English
Experience with virtualization technologies desirable
Experience with web and server management interfaces (Confixx, Plesk, Parallels Virtual Automation, VMware) desirable
Basic ITIL knowledge desirable
