Facility Interventional Radiology, Same Day Surgery, Observation Medical Coder

Role Overview

• Provide coding and abstracting services for clients on facility same day surgery / observation and interventional radiology CPT records
• Use established coding principles and software to assign diagnostic and procedural codes
• Participate in industry forums and support coding education

Requirements

• 3
• 5 years or more of related medical coding experience
• Facility same day surgery / observation and interventional radiology experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPS, and CPT coding principles
• Must pass coding proficiency test
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
