Develop and nurture existing Stantec client relationships and acquire new ones.
Responsible for business development and project delivery, including client management, project leadership, and technical guidance to large teams.
Lead collaboratively, the growth and development of the S&T sector for Stantec.
Assist in strengthening the design brand of Stantec to achieve its goals of becoming a leading design firm.
Secure Exceptional clients for Stantec and deliver high quality, profitable projects.
Manage the Planning and Design process with clients on projects related to the S&T sector.
Program, develop methodologies and design approaches for the product type through project design and documentation phases.
Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and collaborate with existing Stantec Engineering leadership.
Work on a variety of S&T projects from design through construction administration and mentor others.
Collaborate with team members within the project team and leverage Stantec skills in S&T strategically.
Lead in identifying project opportunities, marketing Stantec services and winning work.
Perform limited administrative and office management tasks.
Be an active member within the communities that Stantec serves.
Requirements
Familiarity with Revit and Microsoft Office and ancillary ‘digital’ design tools
The ability to work in an energetic and challenging work environment collaboratively.
A passion for S&T design.
Demonstrated design acumen and leadership on major projects.
Strong business development skills, including significant experience building and maintaining productive relationships with a diverse client base.
Strong seller-doer capable of generating work and creating long-term relationships and delivering long-term value to clients for Stantec.
An entrepreneurial orientation with a strong understanding of the business development challenges of a consulting services provider.
Experience with responding to Requests for Proposals, Expression of Interests, and Statement of Qualifications.
Strong understanding of the market, industry trends and industry leaders.
Demonstrated technical skills on major projects.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team building skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Active in your community including conference attendance/speaking engagements and/or active memberships in associations (such as board posts and committee memberships).
Bachelor or Master’s degree of Architecture at an accredited institution is required.
Minimum of 15 years of experience with a focus on S&T projects is preferred.
License to practice Architecture in the state of Texas is preferred.
