Provide engineering support for proposals, renewals and re-engineering activities to support CEVA Business Growth and Retention objectives
Engineering support may include data analysis, concept of operations, design layouts, identifying processes, build engineering models and develop customer proposals
Continuous development of engineering skills to design distribution center operations
Work with BDs and Program Managers to schedule, prepare and submit proposals and/or renewals on a timely basis
Provide engineering support for other operational improvements as requested
Incorporate green initiatives into CEVA proposals when appropriate
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
Minimum 2 years Logistics & Distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions
Experience in engineering Distribution Centers
Proficiency in AutoCAD, data analysis, process mapping tools, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Knowledge of WMS functionality
Experience in warehouse automation applications a plus
Six Sigma and Lean certification a plus
