Role Overview
- Oversee and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects across disciplines
- Serve as a primary point of contact for BIM-related questions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations
- Work within the project’s monetary budget
- Partner with the project manager to confirm model setup, configuration, and scope requirements
- Participate in client and consultant meetings, including BIM kickoff meetings
- Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and archival across IMEG disciplines and external partners
- Provide team support for Virtual Design software/programs and escalate issues as needed
- Identify training and education needs for standards and BIM/Virtual Design tools
- Review working models and PDF deliverables for compliance with modeling and documentation standards
- Perform model maintenance using best practices and established standards
- Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and support the BIM coordination process
- Follow established standards for modeling and drawing production to meet company quality expectations
- Coordinate models and workflows across the design team
Requirements
- Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred
- 2 years of experience minimum, 3 preferred, or equivalent
- Revit experience required
- Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management
- Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and models preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
