Role Overview
- Produce accurate and professional title commitments.
- Assess risk and liabilities in accordance with policy provisions.
- Perform title searches, verifying and compiling information.
- Examine title orders within company guidelines for insurability.
- Research respective title plant software and analyze documents.
- Prepare an accurate and comprehensive title commitment.
- Provide title examination review of products and services.
- Monitor errors committed by vendor partners and recommend actions.
- Explain chain of title and exceptions to customers and managers.
- Review surveys prepared on properties when applicable.
- Maintain proper production levels and delivery standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of previous title examination experience.
- Knowledge of Texas title examination laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of Texas Title Plant Solutions available.
- Strong English language and communication skills.
- High school diploma; college experience is a plus.
