About this role
Role Overview
Execute and review the monthly accounting close for credit portfolios (cards, CDC, loans);
Analyze revenue recognition (interest, fees, interchange), expenses and financial charges;
Monitor and analyze provisions for expected credit losses (ECL), in accordance with current regulations;
Perform accounting reconciliations (principal, charges, revenues, reversals and chargebacks);
Assess accounting impacts of renegotiations, settlements, installment arrangements and write-offs;
Support and/or prepare regulatory reports to the Central Bank (CADOCs);
Support the preparation of financial statements;
Assist internal and external audits;
Identify and propose process improvements and automations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (active CRC registration);
3–5 years of experience in accounting for financial institutions;
Experience with credit products (cards, CDC, loans, financing);
Knowledge of Central Bank regulations (including CMN Resolution 4.966/21);
Knowledge of applicable CPCs and IFRS;
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
Experience with card processing systems;
Experience with accounting systems;
Practical knowledge of IFRS 9 / expected credit losses;
Participation in process improvement or systems implementation projects.
