About this role
Role Overview
Lead, coach, and structure the Inland sales team
Design and implement strategies to grow revenue and margins
Define KPIs, metrics, and commercial discipline
Support team prospecting, pipeline development, and closing
Ensure healthy margins and profitability
Participate in negotiations and strategic account development
Implement scalable CRM, reporting, and follow-up processes
Recruit and train new sales representatives as needed
Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure high-quality service execution
Requirements
Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on Inland Freight Brokerage sales experience
Verifiable results in revenue generation, gross profit, and account development
Solid knowledge of OTR (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed), spot market, contracts, carrier negotiation, and margin management
Experience supervising or leading sales teams
Full mastery of the brokerage sales cycle
Strong experience with TMS & CRM systems
Big plus: Active book of business and/or experience within the Landstar network
