About this role
Role Overview
Business development
Identify, prospect and acquire new customers (viticulture, breweries)
Build and grow a customer portfolio in the Grand Ouest region
Develop and execute a structured sales action plan
Maintain a regular field presence (customer visits, trade shows, industry events)
Selling complex solutions
Understand customers' technical and economic challenges
Prepare bespoke proposals (consultative approach)
Manage long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
Negotiate and close contracts
Retain customers and grow existing revenue
Ensure rigorous follow-up of projects and opportunities
Serve as the interface between customers and internal teams (technical, production)
Monitor sales performance and KPIs
Report market feedback and contribute to commercial strategy
Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and tools
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales
Proven experience selling complex solutions (ideally technical or industrial)
Knowledge of the wine or brewing industries is a plus
Strong business development and new-business acquisition skills
Proficiency in managing long sales cycles
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
Ability to understand technical environments
Autonomous with strong organizational skills
Meticulous commercial follow-up
Team player with cross-functional collaboration skills
Proactive, tenacious and results-oriented
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
