Overall responsibility for the implementation, cost control and contribution to results of the operational segments of the Track Supply business field in Germany
Leadership and development of segment managers and establishment of a performance-oriented leadership culture within Operations
Ensuring consistent implementation of standards, KPIs and benchmarks, including monitoring and reporting of operational performance
Translating strategic objectives into concrete operational measures and sustainably embedding them in production and service units
Initiating and leading cross-functional projects, particularly in the areas of digitalization, automation and process optimization
Ensuring efficient processes, optimal site availability and compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards
Establishing Operations as a “Center of Excellence” and sharing best practices with comparable units in other countries
Requirements
University degree, e.g. in engineering, production, industrial engineering or business administration
Several years of leadership and management experience, ideally with profit & loss (P&L) responsibility
Proven track record in leading complex organizations, preferably within a matrix structure
Solid understanding of production processes, cost management, quality assurance and operational control
Experience implementing transformation, digitalization or automation initiatives
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to develop managers and align organizations to performance
Strategic thinking combined with a pronounced hands-on mentality
Strong communication skills and the ability to act as an interface between management, business functions and operational units
Very good spoken and written English (at least B2)
Experience in rail infrastructure or industrial services is an advantage
