About this role
Role Overview
- Develop and enhance Java microservices, following best practices such as Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, and SOLID principles
- Implement and integrate APIs and systems, ensuring performance, security, and scalability
- Ensure code quality with automated tests (JUnit, Mockito or similar)
- Actively participate in code reviews and promote best practices
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, proposing continuous improvements
- Collaborate with the team on technical decisions and architectural evolution
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Terraform
Requirements
- Java (preferably Java 17) + Spring Framework
- Experience with backend architectures (Hexagonal, Clean Architecture, SOLID)
- Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, API Gateway, SQS, ElastiCache/Valkey, Amazon Aurora, Lambda)
- Knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience with Docker (containerization)
- Use of Terraform (basic level)
- Practice with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito or similar)
- Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs
- DevOps practices and cloud-native environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines integrated with AWS
