About this role
Role Overview
- Act as an architecture team member and a specialized advisor to sectors on application solutions and operations architecture and as an integrator for one or more delivery teams for projects, initiatives and development activities that have a significant impact on the organization
- Advise business partners and stakeholders to help them orient, plan, develop, configure, execute and monitor innovative technology solutions for the projects, mandates and strategic initiatives under your responsibility
- Design IT solutions that meet business needs and oversee the development of policies and standards, taking into account data, application, security and infrastructure needs to support your unit’s strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify and analyze potential IT solutions that meet the organization’s needs. Identify and analyze issues. Report major issues. Diagnose issues, establish guidelines and make recommendations to decision-making bodies and committees
- Represent your unit before decision-making bodies and committees. Represent Desjardins when making agreements with external partners and organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in French, both oral and written
- Intermediate advanced, both oral and written proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
