Develop and execute a comprehensive ancillary revenue strategy aligned with RioCan’s broader commercial objectives.
Identify and evaluate new revenue opportunities across the portfolio, including digital media, EV charging partnerships, pop-up activations, and telecom infrastructure.
Lead negotiations and manage contracts with third-party vendors and partners.
Collaborate with Leasing, Legal, Property Management, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution and compliance.
Track and report on ancillary revenue performance, providing insights and forecasts to support budgeting and strategic planning.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective partners and stay current on industry trends and innovations.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, retail leasing, or revenue strategy roles.
Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
Written communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
University/ College Degree
Experience working with landlords or in a real estate environment is considered an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
