Role Overview
- Surveying & Technical Assessment
- Visiting customer sites to survey industrial doors, roller shutters
- Taking accurate measurements and assessing structural suitability
- Producing clear survey notes, drawings, and photographs
- Preparing accurate, competitive quotations based on survey findings
- Liaising with manufacturing and procurement teams
- Acting as a technical expert for customers
- Identifying opportunities to upsell automation, safety features
- Working closely with engineers, planners, and the operations team
Requirements
- Experience in industrial doors, roller shutters, or a similar technical surveying role
- Experience preparing estimates or technical quotations
- Strong mechanical and electrical understanding of industrial door systems
- Confident communicator with excellent customer‑facing skills
- Experience using CRM or estimating software
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of BS EN 13241, PUWER and relevant H&S regulations is desirable but not essential
