About this role
Role Overview
- Lead the development and maintenance of complex data pipelines in Azure, ensuring scalability and efficiency;
- Define and implement data architecture and strategic solutions in Azure environments;
- Implement and manage advanced big data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse and other Azure technologies;
- Ensure compliance with best practices for data governance, security and privacy;
- Optimize ETL processes and data management for large volumes, continually seeking improvements;
- Mentor and support more junior team members;
- Collaborate closely with data science, security and DevOps teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Azure data tools and services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL and other platform services;
- Advanced experience with relational and NoSQL databases in large-scale environments;
- Skilled in programming languages such as Python, Scala and SQL, with a focus on performance optimization;
- Strong experience with CI/CD and deployment automation for data pipelines;
- Knowledge of distributed data architectures and big data technologies;
- Familiarity with cloud cost management and resource optimization.
