About this role
Role Overview
oversee the administration, direction, and organization of Service Coordination teammates
serve as a direct supervisor for approximately 7–9 Service Coordination Supervisors
assist with hiring, training, and coaching
assist in developing, interpreting, implementing and monitoring policies, procedures, and regulations
act as a liaison with Medicaid providers, families, or stakeholders
manage work schedules, task assignments, performance, and leave requests
direct, monitor and evaluate work of your team by providing indirect oversight of 50-70 Service Coordinators
develop and implement policies and procedures in response to changing program needs
establish collaborative relationships with waiver service participants and their guardians, providers, advocacy entities, and community organizations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social work, business administration, public administration, human development, human services, behavioral health, law, special education, quality/project management or other closely related field
two years of supervisory experience in developmental or intellectual disabilities program and services
Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned fields (preferred)
Experience supervising and leading teammates
Experience facilitating and presenting in meetings
Experience engaging in difficult conversations
Experience in Word, Excel, Outlook, Nfocus and Therap
Knowledge of Centers for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS) and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waivers
