About this role
Role Overview
Selling Aptos Unified Commerce solutions to prospects and existing customers
Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Professional Services, and Customer Operations
Fostering relationships and collaborating with Aptos’ partners to uncover new leads
Engaging with assigned prospects to uncover business needs using value based selling
Developing a deep understanding of prospective customers’ business needs and pain points
Building comprehensive account plans for strategic new logo targets
Leading strategic sales calls and presentations
Directing internal resources and keeping stakeholders aligned on opportunity progression
Preparing and delivering compelling presentations to senior level executives
Managing opportunity progression in Salesforce.com and accurately forecasting timelines to close new business
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
7+ years of experience successfully selling enterprise retail software solutions
Proven track record of new logo acquisition
Deep understanding of retail, particularly physical retail in the Apparel & Footwear vertical
Strong executive presence and expertise in cultivating relationships at all levels
Established relationships with senior executives with retailers in Aptos's target markets
Extensive outside sales experience engaging Tier 1 and Tier 2 retail leaders
Proficiency using Salesforce.com
Comfort using social media as a prospecting and outreach tool
Proven ability to present and sell effectively in a virtual environment
Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of advanced strategic sales techniques and enterprise sales methodologies
Ability to travel as business needs require.
