Assist Ameriprise financial advisors in servicing clients including preparing basic financial plans, conducting investment research and completing trades and transactions (Money movement, new account opening, etc.) as described by the advisor
Prepare and summarize client meetings by scheduling and confirming meetings, creating the agenda and summary of meetings and providing necessary follow-up
Prepare for and coordinate marketing events which includes creating marketing compliance documentation
Provide general administrative duties such as answering the advisor's phone, processing expense management reports, prepare routine client correspondence, set up of client files, copy and new business correspondence and alerts
Requirements
Graduate in finance discipline (0-1 year experience or 1 year diploma is preferred)
Willingness to go for licensing certifications as needed (SERIES 7 and possibly also for State Securities, State IAR, State Insurance)
Good communication skills
Basic understanding of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word
Exposure to financial products like mutual funds, insurance, retirement services, etc. would be an added advantage
Must have an eye to detail with high accuracy levels
Ability to meet strict timelines per the agreed SLAs for advisor practices
