Role Overview
- Responsible for proper accounting and month-end closing of general ledger sections
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Participate in monthly financial statement close and preparation
- Prepare and post/review journal entries in compliance with GAAP
- Provide support for internal and external audit requests
- Assist with special projects
- Write queries, create reports, and analyze financial results
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 4 or more years of experience in accounting principles
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of internal controls and GAAP
- Experience using an enterprise accounting system preferred
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
