Direct and lead the review, design, development, and implementation of world-class supply chain management solutions in line with our company's Global Operating Model (GOM).
Collaborate closely with the E2E Planning Champions team to drive initiatives and provide support for the team’s Hoshin Kanri.
Responsible for a dedicated scope of products throughout the Supply Chain Operational Planning and Execution to maintain the targeted supply to our customers and patients.
Drive ‘Planning in the System’ within different functional areas in line with the GOM and standard Ways of Working.
Lead the planning team to adopt and adhere to the standard Ways of Working and planning target conditions.
Identify Supply & Demand Challenges and streamline bottlenecks in collaboration with Planners, Super Users, and roles across multiple functions and sites.
Lead and support initiatives that drive standardization and improvements of processes and tools.
Lead cross-functional teams, coordinate, and integrate functional/tactical project management activities.
Liaise with E2E Planning Champions, Hub Planning Champion, Process Stewards, and Super Users to design and develop best practice processes and system solutions.
Provide specialist support during the build phase of projects and develop and sign off test scripts.
Coordinate tests, evaluate and validate new functions and applications, and identify/support resolving issues in software services and solutions.
Ensure the provided solution meets user requirements.
Initiate, write, and deploy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions that promote best practices.
Partner with our manufacturing division Digital organization to define, design, build, and deploy future ways of working and technology.
Implement and lead SCM transformation projects in local operations.
Apply best practices in Project and Change management while ensuring close collaboration with senior business stakeholders and sponsors.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree level or equivalent qualification preferably in a Supply Chain management or Engineering based discipline.
At least 5 years experience in a complex supply chain environment within pharmaceutical or vaccine manufacturing.
Working level knowledge of SAP and Maestro (previously Rapid Response).
Change management experience essential.
Well-developed interpersonal skills able to influence at all levels within the organization.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to frame and build concepts and ideas into realistic solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project management experience and familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Ability to understand complex problems and work to robust solutions with various stakeholders.
Experience in working within a global and culturally diverse organization; ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment.
Ability to manage people in a matrix organization structure.
APICS, Lean, or 6 sigma qualification or equivalent is preferable.
