Execute a defined capstone project addressing a real business problem or opportunity
Support outbound sales campaigns and inbound lead follow-up by researching, qualifying, and routing new customer opportunities to the appropriate sales team members.
Assist in developing preliminary quotes, identifying appropriate distribution partners, and maintaining accurate opportunity tracking within Salesforce and other CRM tools.
Conduct market and account research to identify new business opportunities, understand end-market trends, and support targeted value proposition development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Sales Engineers to support campaigns, new product launches, and customer follow-up activities.
Develop foundational inside sales skills including prospecting, professional communication, CRM utilization (Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Power BI), and data-driven sales process execution.
Participate in Intern Week, professional development sessions, and networking events
Present final project outcomes and recommendations during Capstone Presentations to leadership
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Business, Sales, or Entrepreneurship
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Curiosity, initiative, and interest in industrial manufacturing or safety solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); additional tools a plus.
