Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Scrum framework and Agile best practices.
Enable teams to meet sprint commitments, delivery timelines, and quality standards.
Identify, remove, and proactively escalate impediments and risks impacting team progress.
Promote self organization, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Track, analyze, and communicate Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, capacity, and sprint progress to drive transparency and improvement.
Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and prioritization.
Ensure user stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
Participate in Scrum of Scrums to manage cross team dependencies and resolve inter team challenges.
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to ensure effective coordination across teams.
Provide regular updates on delivery status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices, reinforcing consistent adoption across teams.
Requirements
Required bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile role. Experience working in agile environments and with cross-functional teams is highly preferred.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent) is required. Additional agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, AgilePM) are a plus.
Strong understanding of Scrum and agile methodologies.
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address and resolve impediments.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
