Own all aspects of leading, managing and holding colleagues accountable for delivering results
Provide specific and clear direction with regards to strategy, objectives, policies, practices, and expectations to meet or exceed sales performance goals
Coordinate and manage resources to deliver results and achieve objectives set by Zoetis leadership
Use established performance management and development planning processes and tools to hold field colleagues responsible for delivering results
Lead and build a strong team of engaged colleagues
Conduct weekly field rides, and remote coaching days with each team member
Provide coaching and feedback to help field colleagues meet performance objectives, improve sales, and strengthen their capabilities
Develop the key account Diagnostic strategy and align Diagnostic activities and key account plans to key account management teams, marketing programmes and management direction
Develop and maintain key Diagnostic account plans and relationships based on detailed analysis of the customer’s needs
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required, a scientific discipline preferred
Veterinary, nursing, laboratory and/or medical background, preferred
Experience with related direct sales, diagnostics, marketing, or a similar business, with people management experience preferred
Demonstrated and consistent record of success in delivering results over time
5+ years’ experience in related field
Background in sales, education, or veterinary medicine preferred
Strong computer skills (MS Office and ability to learn Zoetis systems)
Ability to hold teams accountable for performance goals and provide coaching and feedback for individual development
Action-oriented, strategic and growth mindset, and passion for team excellence
A confident, natural leader and problem solver with demonstrated critical thinking and collaboration skills
Knowledge of markets in which Zoetis operates and extensive knowledge of Zoetis’s range of products and services preferred
Solid business acumen and strong medical understanding
Outstanding coaching and teaching skills
Proficient with CRM software
