Design and implement customized laboratory automation solutions that optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure operational excellence in transfusion medicine laboratories.
Act as a trusted technical expert and advisor, supporting global projects and collaborating with clients and internal teams to implement innovative automation solutions.
Engage with customers to understand workflows, operational needs, and automation challenges.
Propose technical automation solutions to optimize laboratory processes and support sales activities.
Act as a technical expert on Grifols automation products, supporting internal teams (Service, R&D, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing).
Create laboratory layouts and 3D solution models using CAD and LabBuilder tools to visualize proposed solutions.
Define solution requirements and collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation.
Support validation, testing, and go-live activities to guarantee smooth deployment and customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to automation product innovation.
Support global projects and travel to customer sites as required to deliver solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced level of English (C1) – indispensable.
At least 3 years of experience in laboratory automation, including system integration, workflow design, and process optimization – indispensable.
At least 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as consulting, solutions engineering, or technical support
indispensable.
Extensive knowledge of laboratory workflows, ideally in transfusion medicine or high-performance clinical environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and customer relationships simultaneously.
Available for frequent travel, both within the country and abroad, depending on the projects.
Experience using CAD tools (AutoCAD) and 3D design tools (LabBuilder) or knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies – desirable.
