Privacy Office Administrator

Role Overview

• Coordinate and administer various responsibilities within the HCSC Privacy Office
• Work with low and moderate risk issues and departments
• Ensure HCSC is compliant with various federal and state regulations
• Oversee the annual updates of regulatory policies and procedures
• Ensure all HCSC employees complete the regulatory training
• Responsible for development and distribution of regulatory information via intranet and internet web site
• Track and report on a variety of required initiatives under federal and state laws

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business or Legal
• 4 years experience in the healthcare industry OR 8 years experience in the healthcare industry
• Knowledge of and experience interpreting federal and state laws
• Knowledge of HCSC’s various functional areas and departments
• Ability leading departmental or divisional projects
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
